Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. Gogebic County Criminal History does not keep its own log or copy of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent directly to the site may be retained long enough to address the message. It is not shared beyond the operation except when disclosure is required by law.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Gogebic County Criminal History does not host, compile, or sell a database of individual criminal records. It publishes directions to the sheriff, D98 and C32 courts, Michigan State Police CJIC, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or a dossier about another person, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the embedded search tools. Their own privacy terms govern any information submitted through those tools, including retention and sharing. Review the provider's policy before sending a query because this policy does not control the provider's systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Gogebic County offices, Michigan agencies, court portals, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Check those terms before providing personal data.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. Such tracking is performed on the provider's systems.

Users Under 18
